Raise Your Vibration by Getting Into Your Body and Out of Your Head!
Want to raise your vibration? Then get into your body and hear its messages! Are you a walking head? In other words, are you stuck in your brain all day long, thinking and analyzing, daydreaming and planning? Do you ever stop to feel? Do you ever get in touch with the messages your body is sending? Do you medicate yourself when your body tries to urgently get your attention? The body is always sending us messages- intuitive "gut feelings" cannot be heard unless we are listening to our bodies. Moving too quickly through life will show up as pain- are you listening to what your body is telling you? Our bodies are an amazing gift…as the vehicle through which we travel in this lifetime our bodies have agreed to take our abuse and to let us know when we go too far. Pain in the body is always related to something going on inside of you. Disease in the body is the result of dis-ease in the heart. If you never get into your body and let the pain tell you what you need to know, the pain will grow and grow. Have you ever ignored a child that really wanted your attention? The child tends to get louder and louder until you pay attention, right? This is what the body does as well. In order to raise the vibration of your body (this is important- you can't go to a higher frequency if your body is suffering!) then you need to slow down and get into your body. Honor your body and listen to what it is telling you! Unexpected bouts of clumsiness is also a manifestation from being too much in your head and not in your body. In general, it is a signal that you are rushing around, thinking too much, and not breathing and feeling. Listen to the messages from your body and slow down when you start to get clumsy. Take deep breaths and relax. Feel the present moment. Enjoy the present moment and breathe...
Getting into your body and out of your head is not difficult. I am a trained dancer and I dance almost every day and even I get out of my body- you can be engaged in movement but still be in your head! Slow and gentle stretches, deep breathing, ritualistic exercise…these are easy ways to get present and in your body. If you are moving but not listening to your body or your mind is not quiet then you are probably in your head. When you are feeling pain, try and listen to it. Stretch into a little instead of avoiding the area that is hurting. It can be surprising, but un-expressed emotions and pain get stuck in our bodies, and if you run from the pain it will not go away (sorry to tell you that!). Instead, try and stretch into the area that is hurting, gently. See if emotions come up and if they do, be with the feeling and just see what happens. Begin to slow down and listen to your body. Take more deep breaths. Really feel your feet grounding down into the floor. Stretch…walk…move…play! The body is the vehicle through which we manifest. If you are always in your head, then your desires will only manifest in your head. Get into your body, raise your vibration, and watch your life start to flourish a bit more!
