Intention of the Week:

Don’t point the finger of blame at anyone but yourself.

This week, I want to practice not pointing the blame at anyone. If you need someone to blame for something, then practice blaming yourself! Why? Because you create your own reality. I want you to practice taking ownership of your life! I also want you to do this because many people get into victim-mode: “this costs so much, the government does this, etc”. It’s time to stop doing this! It’s very disempowering to blame others, so practice letting it go.

When you point the finger “out there” you are missing the point that we are all connected. There is no one “out there” doing anything to you because the Universe is a mirror- it always reflects you back to your inner self. If you don’t like what is showing up, then blaming others will just keep the cycle going. Instead, look inside and ask, “how can I act in ways that create more joy, peace, and abundance in my life?” Always consider what you can do to improve a situation and let go of blaming others. This will empower you and you will train yourself to take control and create positive change in your life.

Remember, this week there will be no “woe is me”, whining or complaining! We can all do this for one week, right? So let’s get out there with positive attitudes and take ownership. If some random dude off the street is rude to you, don’t blame him. Just shrug it off! Or say, “hmmm….how did I create that?” Ask it in a curious manner and don’t judge yourself or others.
