When I say "raise your vibration" I am referring to the practice of raising your energy up to a higher level, a place where you feel good. When you feel depressed or irritable you are not vibrating at a high level. One of the keys to joyous living is practice choosing joy, love, and abundance. When we choose these feelings, we raise our vibration and resonate with those things and events that we have been desiring. The Universe, and everything in it, is comprised of energy, so it makes sense that we want to vibrate at a high level and attract to us higher level events and people. To raise your vibration, live in a higher level of energy, and feel more joy, begin by appreciating all the wonderful gifts in your life. I begin each day by writing down everything I appreciate in my life. I end each evening by writing down all the wonderful events that occurred in my life that day. I write down everything, from the birds singing in my yard to the new client I landed. The point is to feel good and be happy! It is useful to note that your vibration and energy level doesn't shift permanently overnight. This is a practice- life is meant to be fun! So take baby steps- what fun little gifts did you receive today? For me, it was driving past two little birds taking a bath in a puddle, and the two puppies that popped their heads out of the car window. (I love animals. What do you love??) As you practice focusing on joy and love you will attract more and more joyous events to you. That is the Law of Attraction at work! In order to attract something wonderful you need to feel that essence that you are desiring within you. The key to abundance is to feel abundant as often as possible. (Or said another way, focus on what you have, because what you focus on expands!) Practice being joyous, confident, and in a state of positive expectation. You probably have a lifetime of limiting thoughts playing through your head, though, so don't get discouraged. Continue to walk the path of joy, love and abundance. What else can you do today to feel more joy and love? Think about it, write down what you come up with, and follow through. Have a beautiful day!! - Exercise
- Spend time in nature
- Nurture yourself with a massage, a bath, time at the driving range, or playing with a pet
- Meditate
- Spend 15 minutes a day focusing on what you love in your life!
